Prenatal breastfeeding classes for expecting parents

Live, online small group prenatal lactation classes for expecting parents hoping to breastfeed or express milk for their baby.

Lactation 101 for the expecting parent and their supporting partner

Classes are taught in a small group, giving you a chance to meet me and discuss your lactation hopes, concerns, and dreams in a quiet setting. Expecting parents are encouraged to attend together, but if that’s not an option, the lactating parent is more than welcome to attend solo.

The class runs about an hour, with plenty of time for questions during and after.

Prenatal Lactation Class Contents

This class is for expecting parents who plan on lactating and feeding their babies human milk, and their supporting partners. If you do not have a partner, or prefer not to bring someone, please let me know when signing up, and the class will be customized.

This is the “just what you need to know” class for the parent who will be providing milk to your new infant. Learn the basics of lactation and infant feeding so you feel more confident and prepared for the first few days and weeks with your new baby.

As the non-lactating parent or support partner, you need a completely different set of skills. I have created this class for to be also for you–the father, grandparent, nanny, doula, or partner who is providing support to a breastfeeding dyad or family.
