What is Craniosacral Therapy (CST)?

Sometimes known simply as “bodywork,” craniosacral therapy aims to find tension in the body’s connective tissues and melt it away.

How does CST support infant feeding?

Oral Motor Function

Babies use their whole bodies to eat. It’s more than just a tongue that does the work! CST can help babies use their jaw, cheeks, neck and tongue properly.

Nervous System Regulation

Our nervous system needs to be calm in order to rest and digest. CST can help a baby move between states, resulting in a happier baby.

Primal Reflexes

Babies are born ready to eat, but sometimes things aren’t working quite right. CST can bring awareness back to the body, helping it do what it needs to do.

Who can benefit from craniosacral therapy?

Infants & Babies

An infant’s biggest job is eating, but not all babies are born ready to rest and digest optimally. CST can help babies feed and feel better.

Children & Teens

The need for nervous system support continues throughout childhood. CST can help with missed milestones, and behavior and learning challenges.

Adults

Whether you’re a new parent needing to connect with your baby, or an adult struggling with chronic pain or stress, CST can help.
